Bhopal: A new western disturbance is becoming active in many parts of the country. Its impact can be seen more in the western Himalayan region and plains from 29 February to 4 March. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the influence of western disturbance, there may be light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh in the next 24 hours. Along with this, there is also an alert of snowfall. Apart from this, warning of rain and hailstorm with thunder has been issued in different areas of Telangana, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh today.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with thunder, hailstorm and lightning in Central India on 26 and 27 February. There may be hailstorm along with rain at isolated places in East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. There is a possibility of damage to farmers' crops due to hailstorm. Cold wave conditions persist in the tribal areas and hills of Himachal Pradesh and light snowfall has occurred at some places. The Meteorological Department has predicted rainfall at some places in the central hills on February 26, 27 and 29 and at many other places on March 1. The weather office has also issued a 'yellow' alert for this, warning of storms and lightning at different places on 26, 27, 29 February and March 1 and 2. 

Cold continues in Delhi-NCR in the morning and evening. An increase in cold is being seen in the last 24 hours. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature in the national capital on Sunday was recorded at 8.3 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees below the season's average temperature. The Meteorological Department said that it is expected to be cloudy on Monday and there will be drizzle at night. It has been predicted to be cloudy and drizzle in many parts of Rajasthan. According to this, due to the effect of a weak western disturbance, there is a possibility of cloudy sky and drizzle at some places in some parts of the state on 26-27 February. It was told by the weather center that there is a strong possibility of another intense western disturbance becoming active from March 1-2. Due to its effect, there may be rain with thunderstorms and strong winds at some places in some parts of the state in the first week of March.
