Aligarh: A man was strangulated to death by his wife and younger brother over an illicit relationship in Mudiya village under the Gonda police station area in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh, police said on Sunday. After that, they took the body outside the village and buried it by digging soil in the ground and spread rumours of his disappearance in the village. A missing complaint was lodged on behalf of the uncle of the deceased, but on suspicion, the police arrested the deceased's wife and younger brother and questioned them, and then the whole matter was revealed. At the instance of both, the police seized the body buried in the ground and sent it for post-mortem.
According to the news received, 27-year-old Pushpendra Singh alias Allo, son of Omprakash, a resident of Mudia village, used to work as a labourer. Suddenly he went missing two days ago. On Saturday, when he could not be seen anywhere, his uncle Sukha lodged a missing complaint at the police station. After registering the missing complaint, the police started investigating, and then the needle of suspicion behind Pushpendra's disappearance went towards his wife and younger brother Ravendra. On this, the police caught both of them and took them to the police station. When both of them were strictly questioned at the police station, both of them confessed to killing Pushpendra while confessing to their crime.
According to CO Iglas, Pushpendra has two sons and a 20-day-old daughter. Pushpendra's wife has an illicit relationship with her brother-in-law Ravendra. Pushpendra had seen his wife and brother in an objectionable condition inside the house. On this, both of them strangled Pushpendra inside the house and killed him. After that, at night, the body was taken outside the village on a motorcycle and buried the body by digging a pit in the ground. The police reached the spot where the body was buried. The police seized the body by digging a pit. Along with this, the motorcycle and shovel used in disposing of the body have also been seized. The CO said that the incident was revealed six hours after the missing complaint was registered.
