Bhopal: These days inflation is increasing day by day. Now another big news has come in this sale. In the past, petrol and diesel prices have increased. After that came the news about increasing milk prices. Now meanwhile, bus fare is also going to be expensive. The Shivraj Singh Chauhan government has now decided to increase bus fares. According to reports, State Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput has given a statement in this regard. He says, "Bus operators have been demanding a fare hike for several days." Not only this but after discussions with Chief Minister Shivraj in this matter, it has been agreed to increase the fare.
Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput says that the fare will be increased from March 1. It is not yet known how much the fare will increase. According to the news, this will be decided with the mutual consent of the bus operator and the passengers. At the same time, the bus operators say that 'there are about 36 thousand buses in Madhya Pradesh. Our aim is not to disturb the general public. The price of diesel is continuously increasing. The price of diesel has gone up from Rs 60 to Rs 90 per liter, but the fare has not been increased.
In such a situation, their business is falling apart. As we all know, the bus operators of Madhya Pradesh had announced a symbolic bandh on 26 and 27 February. During this time the main demand was not to increase the rent but not for a long time. They said that the burden of increasing diesel and other expenses is falling on them so till the rates of fuel are at hike let them also increase the fare of traveling.
