At the same time, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also said, "Sometimes there is an occasion when there is a need to work with life. That is the opportunity at the moment. Work for the flood-affected people with the full cooperation of social organizations and with all your might.''
In addition, Chief Minister Chouhan also said, "Apart from relief camps, provision of food, clean water, etc. Repair of broken houses, restoration of power supply, repair of broken heads, restoration of communication system, etc. should be done soon.'' Let me tell all of you that yesterday, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan returned to Bhopal after inspecting the flood-affected areas of the Gwalior division and held a meeting of senior officials late at night at his residence.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Home Rajesh Rajora, DGP Home Guard, Principal Secretary Revenue Manish Rastogi, Public Relations Commissioner Sudam Khade, etc. During the meeting, Chief Minister Chouhan directed that the safety of all in flood-affected areas be ensured. He also said, "Provide food and pure water to the affected people. Ensure that there is no outbreak of infectious diseases in the affected areas. Provide shelter to persons whose houses have been destroyed, as well as help in repairing the houses.''
