Muzaffarnagar : The case registered against 26 persons, including  the son of the village head, who has been arrested, regarding the connection with the clashes that broke out at Naingala village in Shamli district later the members of a tribal community were apparently expelled from their homes-as per the official.

Kuldeep Kukreti, the police officer said “The 26 people have been named in the matter involving the village head Mukeem and his son Nafees Ahmad”

The clashes which broke out on Thursday, in which 22 people were injured, after supporters of the village head tried to forcibly evict the members of tribal community from their families owed under the Indira Awas system which led to a conflict between the two groups, who used firearms and pelted stones at each other.
