Lucknow: There was a stir in the Haldi area of Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday morning due to the murder of father and son. The son's body was recovered from the well away from the village, while the father's body was lying in a pool of blood inside the house. As soon as the information was received, the police officials reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The blood-drenched body of 26-year-old Vikram Singh was recovered from a well in the village on Tuesday morning. The police pulled out the body. The police found traces of blood outside the well.
When the police reached the house of the deceased youth to investigate in this regard, they were also stunned to see the blood-soaked body of his father Umashankar Singh (70). Sensation spread after finding dead body of father and son together in the village. It is believed that someone killed both of them. According to the villagers, Umashankar Singh lived with his two sons Vikram Singh (26) and Sandeep Singh (24) in the house located in North Tola. Both are unmarried, while Umashankar's wife has also passed away.
After the incident, the younger son Sandeep has not been traced and his mobile is also switched off. According to the villagers, another son of Umashankar, Dilip, is older than Vikram and Sandeep. He left home 12-13 years ago. It is said that he came home 2-3 days ago. At that time there was a dispute between father and sons. After that he was gone. As soon as the information about the incident was received, ASP, CO, SHO reached the spot. Police is probing all angles.
