Dehradun: A shocking case of attempted rape of a minor girl student from Uttarakhand has come to light. An attempt has been made to rape a minor girl student by entering her house in the Jwalapur area of ​​the Haridwar district of the state. On the complaint of the aggrieved party, the Haridwar Jwalapur police arrested the youth accused of attempting to rape. 

According to the report, a person living in the area informed the police that his 13-year-old daughter is a seventh-grade student. On Sunday (February 12) her baby girl was alone at home. Meanwhile, Vikas, a youth living in the neighborhood, forcibly entered his house. It is alleged that he tried to rape his daughter by threatening her, but in case of failure, the accused escaped after warning her of dire consequences if she told about this to anyone.

While giving information in this matter, Kotwali in-charge RK Saklani has told that the accused youth has been arrested. The accused does marketing work in a company. While taking action a case under POCSO Act and Rape has been registered, and the accused has been arrested and sent to jail.
