Samsung is stepping up to introduce its much-anticipated Galaxy Tab S10 series later this year, following the recent unveiling of its flagship foldable smartphones at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Market analysts indicate that the production of these new tablets is slated to begin next month.

Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), recently posted on X  that Samsung is set to commence production of the Galaxy Tab S10 series in August. Young also confirmed earlier reports that this year's lineup will consist of only two models: the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, suggesting that Samsung may be phasing out the base model.

According to Young, both models will be available in grey and silver. He also mentioned that the Galaxy Tab S10 series is expected to launch in October, corroborating an earlier claim by journalist Max Jambor.

While Young did not provide further launch details, previous leaks have hinted at the specifications of the new tablets. The Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra are expected to feature large AMOLED displays, each at least 12 inches. Benchmark tests suggest that the Tab S10 Plus might be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset and come with 12GB of RAM. It is anticipated to run on Android 14 and bear the model number SM-X828U.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, on the other hand, is rumored to sport a 14.6-inch AMOLED display, similar to the current model. Leaked images suggest it will retain its design and the quad-speaker setup with sound by AKG. Additionally, the S-Pen is expected to still magnetically attach to the back of the tablet.

As the launch date approaches, more details about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series are likely to emerge.
