The railway recruitment board has issued a notice on its official portal that the online CBT 1 examination has been postponed in Assam due to assembly elections. The examination is held in the fifth phase will not be held in Assam on the 27th of March. On the remaining days, the exam will be conducted as before. All those candidates who are in the state of Assam on 27th March will be affected by this decision.
The candidates whose examinations have canceled will be quizzed in the sixth phase examination. The Railway Board will soon issue its information. The news has been sent to the affected students on their registered mobile number and Email ID in this regard. The dates of the re-exam are not yet final, information will be released on the official portal of the board as soon as the new date finalized. The affected students will also be sent information in this regard and new admission letters will be issued at the stipulated moment.
The first phase of online examination (CBT 1) for recruitment to NTPC posts in railways is continuing in a different phase from December 2020. The fifth phase of the examination will continue till March 27 in which about 19 lakh candidates are participating. The next phase of the examination date and admission letter is expected to be released by next week. Admission letters are issued 4 days before the examination. Any other information will be released on the official portal.
