Sources indicate that he suffered a heart attack. Gadhvi, who was set to celebrate his 57th birthday on November 22, is survived by his wife Gina and two daughters.

Gadhvi's notable contributions to Indian cinema also include directing films such as 'Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai' and the Imran Khan-starrer 'Kidnap.' In 2012, he helmed 'Ajab Gazabb Love,' followed by 'Operation Parindey' in 2020.
