- Chest (for male candidates only) :
- Scheduled Tribe (ST) : 76 cm without expansion, 81 cm with expansion
- Other States and Union Territories : 80 cm without expansion, 85 cm with expansion
- Weight : Proportionate to height and age
Minimum Medical Standards
- Eyesight :
- Near vision without correction – Better eye: N6, Worse eye: N9
- Distant vision without correction – Better eye: 6/6, Worse eye: 6/9
- Refraction : No visual correction is allowed for distant vision. Must be able to read with glasses only for near vision.
PET Standard(Physical Efficiency Test)
- For Male Candidates :
- Run: 1.6 Km (to be completed in 7:30 minutes)
- Long Jump: 11 feet (3 chances)
- High Jump: 3½ feet (3 chances)
- For Female Candidates :
- Race: 800 meters (to be completed in 4:45 minutes)
- Long Jump: 9 feet (3 chances)
- High Jump: 3 feet (3 chances)
