Jaipur: The case of a Dalit woman being raped and murdered in Rajasthan's Barmer district has come to light. The victim has been given a very painful death; the accused has murdered her by burning her with acid. According to the report, the name of the accused is Sukar Khan (30), who happened to be the neighbour of the woman. The police have arrested the accused. The incident is from Thursday, April 6. The relatives of the deceased have demanded Rs 1 crore as compensation and government jobs for the children.

According to reports, the matter is related to the Balotra town of Barmer. The deceased was 45 years old and lived with her family in the neighbourhood of Sukar Khan. While giving a complaint to the police, the woman's husband told them that she had gone to Balotra for work on Thursday. The children of the victim were also attending school at the time of the incident. Quoting a neighbour, the victim's husband has said in his complaint that Sukar Khan entered their house at 2 p.m. At that time, the victim was alone in the house. By entering the house, Sukar raped the victim. During the rape, the screams of the victim went to the neighbourhood. When a neighbour reached the house for help, Sukar Khan pushed her too. The woman who came to save her fell to the ground, and Sukar Khan poured the acid he brought with him on the victim.

There is a possibility of thinner in the bottle in the form of acid, which was also set on fire by Sukar Khan. The victim was badly burned in this attack. The woman's husband was informed about the incident over the phone by the neighbour. After this act, the accused, Sukar Khan, absconded. In the complaint, the husband of the deceased has also mentioned the last statement of the victim. Then the victim told her husband that 'accused Sukar Khan came to his dhani after seeing her alone and, while doing dirty acts with her, forcedly took her inside the room built into the dhani. There, he raped me.

The victim's husband took his acid-burned wife to a nearby hospital, where she was referred to Jodhpur. Finally, after mutual consultation, the family members of the victim took her to a private hospital in Balotra for treatment, where she died. A case was registered in this regard at the Pachpadra police station on Friday. The accused, Sukar, has been arrested by the police and is facing further action.
