Kota: A tragic road accident took place on National Highway 27 (NH-27) in Simlia police station area of the Kota district of Rajasthan in the wee hours of Tuesday. Here a sleeper coach bus rammed into the trailer ahead. Four people died in this tragic incident. More than half a dozen people were injured. The injured have been admitted to different hospitals for treatment.

Many passengers on the bus were sleeping at the time of the incident. The bus was going towards Uttar Pradesh from Gujarat. There was a commotion on the spot after the accident. Police said more than 50 people were present in the sleeper coach bus of Uttar Pradesh state. The bus met with a road accident near Karadia petrol pump. Three people died on the spot and one died during treatment at Kota Hospital. Rural Superintendent of Police Kavendra Singh and other police officials rushed to the spot after being informed about the incident.

Police and passengers sitting in the bus who reached the spot said that the bus had stopped after crossing the Simlia toll plaza and the bus driver had also eaten tobacco. As soon as the bus left, suddenly the bus driver tried to overtake the trailer running ahead while spitting tobacco.
