Jaipur: The body of a disciple of the Mahant of Yogeshwar Dham temple in Ajmer, Rajasthan, was found hanging on the bell inside the temple. His feet were touching the ground. In view of this, people have feared murder. After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took the body out, and sent it to Bhinai Hospital for post-mortem.

According to the report,  the incident took place in Nagola village under the Bhinai police station area. Mahant Laxman Das lived with his 19-year-old disciple Shravan Das in the Yogeshwar Dham temple located on a hill near the Bisalpur pump station. Both used to worship in the temple. Shravan Das was originally a resident of the Ashok Nagar police station area of Madhya Pradesh. For the last 8 years, he was living in Yogeshwar Dham temple as a disciple of Mahant Laxman Das. People who reached the spot say that where Shravan Das was hanging, his knees were touching the ground. People have expressed the possibility of killing Shravan Das and hanging him.

Mahant Laxman Das has informed that Shravan Das had prepared food and fed him at 8 am on Thursday. After having dinner, he went to meet people at Khedi Shankar village near Supa Sapla to perform Yagya. When we reached Yogeshwar Dham at 2 pm, we found Shravan Das's body hanging on the temple bell. After which the police were informed.
