Jaipur: In a shocking incident, a saint's body was found in several pieces on the banks of a river in Rajasthan's Dholpur district. According to the report, a body was found on the banks of the Parvati river in the forests of Bamani under the Kanchanpur police station area on Wednesday morning, after which it was revealed that the body was of 60-year-old Bahabuddin Khan, who was found on the banks of the river in pieces in several sacks. According to the report, the deceased saint was a resident of Bhimgarh village and for the last 10 years, he used to worship at the temple of Mata located in the ravine of Tontari village. As soon as the incident was reported, Kanchanpur police station reached the spot and collected information regarding the case. At the same time, an FSL team has also been called to the spot.

At the same time, it has been reported that the deceased saint had converted to Hinduism from the Muslim religion and for the last 10 years he lived in the temple of Chamunda Mata and used to take care of the temple besides offering prayers here. According to the incident, on Wednesday morning, local villagers spotted a body lying in a pool of blood in 4 sacks, triggering panic in the area. After this, a huge crowd of villagers gathered there and the police were informed. Police reached the spot and took possession of the body. At present, the police have not got any clue in this regard.

According to the report, the priest, Bahabuddin Khan, renounced Islam 10 years ago and converted to Hinduism, and started worshiping in the temple. Locals have said that the priest lived in the temple of Mata located in the ravines of the Parvati river near Totri village. At present, the police are investigating the case from all angles. Kanchanpur police station in-charge Hemraj Sharma said that the mata temple priest Bahabuddin of Tontari village was killed last night, where the killers cut off both the legs, both hands, body, and torso of the priest and threw them in sacks. Hemraj Sharma has informed that there was another temple next to Mata Mandir, where three other saints lived and they are said to be absconding since the incident. Now the police have formed a team and are searching for the absconding saints.
