Barmer: The body of a minor girl was recovered on Monday morning in a village under Shiv Police station area of Barmer district of Rajasthan. The minor has been strangled and murdered. A police official has informed about this. According to the police, the girl appears to have been raped, but nothing can be officially said before confirmation of the post-mortem report.
Meanwhile, hundreds of people gathered on the spot demanding justice for the minor and arrest of the accused. "At about 8 a.m. on Monday morning, the police received reports of the body of a minor in a village under Shiv Thananunder, after which the police arrived at the spot. The minor has been strangled and murdered and the body was found in the open field behind her house. ''
Sharma further said that the minor is likely to be raped, but only after confirmation of the post-mortem report, something can be officially said about it. He also said that the body of the minor has been kept in the local crematorium and the police team has been constituted for investigation. The superintendent of police said that the minor is not the father and his family has his mother and two younger brothers. The victim's family told the police that she was in the house on Sunday night, but her body was found behind the house on Monday morning. He said that no report has been filed so far on behalf of the victim's family in this regard.
