Jaipur: The body of a Class 11 student was found in a semi-naked state in a forest in Rajasthan's Banswara district a few days ago, triggering panic among the people. At first, the story of the kidnapping of the student came to light, but when the secret was revealed in the police investigation, her cousin turned out to be the murderer. He wanted to rape his sister. But after failing in his motive, the girl student uttered about telling everyone in this regard, so the brother killed her. After this, he himself kept confusing the police by becoming an eyewitness to the kidnapping. The police suspected him when he changed his statement repeatedly. When strictly questioned, he spilt the whole secret. The case has come to light from the Lohraya police station area in the Banswara district.
Police investigation has revealed that the minor cousin wanted to rape his own sister. When the sister protested and threatened to tell this to everyone in the family, the accused strangled the cousin to save himself. The minor accused, like a vicious criminal, broke his own phone and put it in the water and tore the shirt and threw it on the spot. After this, while presenting himself as an eyewitness to the incident, he was constantly engaged in misleading the police.
Banswara Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajesh Kumar Meena has informed that the body of the class 11 student was found in the forest near Khodan drain in the Loharia police station area. There were only half the clothes on her body. A day before the body was recovered, the victim's father had lodged a complaint with the police about robbing and kidnapping his daughter's mobile phone. High officials of the police went to the spot and inspected and collected evidence. The help of the FSL team and dog squad was also taken to nab the accused.
