Terror of 'Kaccha banyan'  gang in Rajasthan, 5 incidents in two days

Bharatpur: The 'Kutchha Banyan' gang is synonymous with terror in the outskirts of Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The gang has targeted five homes in forty-eight hours. An elderly man was killed on Sunday in an attack. The second incident occurred late Sunday night from village Nagala Now in Chiksana police station area. Here, half a dozen unidentified crooks entered a farmhouse and picked up a box from the room.

They also assaulted the wife and two daughter-in-law of the landlord sleeping on the porch and snatched away their jewellery. The two daughter-in-law was in critical condition and referred to Jaipur. Police rushed to the spot late in the night on the information of the incident, but there was no trace of the unidentified miscreants. Earlier on Saturday night, the thefts in village Zaghina and Bhavanpura, which fall under Thana Udyognagar area, are suspected to have been carried out by the same gang.

Outward 7th Battalion in village Nagala Now is the house of Jawan Tarasingh in RAC. At about 12.30 p.m., half a dozen unidentified miscreants stormed into the wall and picked up a box in the room and fled. The gang members then attacked The onthes, the wife of Tara Singh, Pistadevi and daughter-in-law Poonam wife Jitendra Singh and Geeta's wife Satish Singh, who were sleeping on the porch. Unidentified miscreants beat them up and snatched their jewelry. Hearing the noise, Tara Singh, sleeping outside, rushed in and the crooks began to run away

Lakhan Singh, who lives a few kilometres away when the noise came, rushed to the spot and called the police and reported the incident. Poonam and Geeta were seriously injured in the incident, who have been referred to Jaipur for treatment while Pistadevi has been admitted to a private hospital.
