Jaipur: A heart-rending accident has come to light from Barmer, Rajasthan. In fact, here a pregnant woman was burnt alive while trying to save her three-year-old innocent daughter. She managed to save her daughter, but she herself suffered severe burn injuries due to the fire. The woman was admitted to the hospital in critical condition, but could not be saved.
According to the report, the incident took place in Shobhala Darshan village under the Sedwa police station area. It is being told that before the accident, the woman made tea for her husband and then went back to sleep with her daughter. After some time, she felt the heat of the fire and saw that the hut is burning. After which she immediately picked up her 3-year-old innocent daughter and ran out and took the daughter to a safe place. After this, she again entered the hut to get some essential goods, but due to the collapse of the roof, she was caught in the fire.
Seeing the fire in the hut, locals rushed to the spot and immediately brought the fire under control by pouring soil and water and the woman was taken to the community health center in Sedwa. From where she was referred to Sanchore. But she died on the way. It is being told that at the time of the accident, the woman's husband was sleeping in a nearby hut.
As soon as the news of the incident was received, the police including the sub-divisional officer, Tehsildar, and Patwari reached the spot. He assured all possible help to the victim's family along with the investigation of the incident. Barmer Additional District Collector Surendra Purohit said the incident took place due to a burning lantern in the hut. The woman suffered 80 percent burn injuries. All possible help will be given to the victim's family by the administration.
