Rae Bareli: District Basic Education Officer has taken action against 35 teachers in Rae Bareli, UP. While the Education Officer has issued a notice of termination of service to an assistant teacher for negligence. 14 teachers posted in the COVID-19 call centre have been issued a notice of salary deduction to more than 12 teachers and educators, due to negligence and non-attendance on duty in different blocks of the city.
After the District Education Officer received this decree, there has been a stir in the Education Department. District Education Officer Anand Prakash Sharma said in his statement that the notice of termination of service has been issued to Assistant Teacher Harishankar posted in the primary school Sulipur of Chhatoh block of the city. The District Education Officer Sharma further said that from December 2019, the accused teachers were absent from duty.
He also told that teacher Harishankar has neither verified his records even after the instruction of the government nor has he made any updates about his wealth. The District Education Officer suspended a teacher posted in Lalganj. The District Education Officer also said that "On Monday, officials conducted surprise inspections at the block level in several schools in different blocks of the city. Due to this, strict action was taken by BSA."
