Jaipur: Rajasthan Police has registered a case of rape against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab unit leader Kuldeep Kumar alias Deep Kamboj and his 3 relatives. Besides the AAP leader, a case has been registered against Vijay Kamboj, Aman Kamboj and Smile Kamboj on charges including rape on the complaint of a woman from Sri Ganganagar district. Let us tell you that Deep Kamboj contested the 2022 Punjab Assembly elections from Abohar seat, but he had to face defeat by Sandeep Jakhar of Congress.

According to media reports, the victim woman has also lodged a complaint with the Fazilka police in Punjab, while Kuldeep Kumar has lodged a counter-complaint with Fazilka SSP Avneet Kaur Sidhu. The AAP leader alleged that the woman was a honeytrap mastermind who duped many people of money. Fazilka police said they are probing the complaints filed by both the parties. In her complaint, the woman has stated that she came in contact with AAP leader Kuldeep Kumar alias Deep Kamboj on December 14, when a false FIR was allegedly lodged against her family.

The woman told that during this Deep took her to a hotel and raped her and also threatened her. The complainant also alleged that AAP leader Deep and his relatives coerced her to post objectionable photographs on social media. In her complaint, the woman has stated that on May 16, she came to know that she was pregnant and hence she met Deep and his relatives, but they made her drink cold drink laced with medicines, which caused her to miscarry without her consent.
