Kochi: The controversy over the film 'The Kerala Story', which is going to be released in cinema halls this Friday (May 5), is getting deeper. Political mercury has also risen in Kerala regarding the film. Especially the tussle has started between the ruling Left Democratic Front-Congress and the BJP over this film. The film shows how thousands of young women were brainwashed to join the terrorist organization Islamic State (IS) and go to countries like Syria and Afghanistan. 

As per reports, the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF), the opposition United Democratic Front (UDF) and the Congress have come out against the film. The detractors are saying that the film promotes hate speech and there is no truth in it. Along with this, in the film, it has been talked about converting 32000 girls to Islam and giving one crore to prove the allegations of sending them to terrorist organizations. On the other hand, people supporting 'The Kerala Story' retaliated by saying that they will give 10 crores. You prove it is not true. 

10 Crore Reward for Proving Nobody from Kerala joined ISIS?

In fact, the Kerala State Committee of the Muslim Youth League has announced a reward of one crore rupees to the person who proves the allegations of converting 32000 girls to Islam and making them sex slaves of ISIS. Countering this, Pratish Vishwanath, a right-wing activist and founder of Hindu Seva Kendra, has announced a donation of Rs 10 crore. He said that if someone proves that no one from Kerala had gone to Syria to join terrorist organization ISIS, he would be given Rs 10 crore. 

An ISIS widow Ayisha (Converted) got married to Abdul Rashid, joined ISIS in Afghanistan & later he got killed there. She wanted to return back to India.

Let us tell you that the main ruckus in the film is about the conversion of 32000 girls and making them sex slaves of ISIS. The question of the opponents is, where did this figure of 32000 come from. Muslim youths from Kerala go to join terrorist organizations, they have also gone, this is absolutely true, but the exact figure of their number has not been revealed.

What did former CM V.S. Achuthanandan :-

In 2010, the then CM of Kerala V.S. Achuthanandan had given a big statement regarding PFI, radical Islamic stream in Kerala. He had said that- PFI would make 'Kerala' an Islamic state in the next 20 years by using money and marriages (love jihad). He had clearly said that the fundamentalists are converting the youth. For doing this, Muslim youths are also being paid money and they are also being asked to marry non-Muslim girls. 

Congress CM OmaanChandy also gave statement on Islamic conversion :-

Omaan Chandy, another former CM of Kerala Congress, had laid a figure on the table of the Assembly on 25 June 2012. He had told that between 2006 and 2012, more than 2500 non-Muslim girls were forcibly forced to accept Islam. 

Statement of former DGP of Kerala on Love Jihad:-

In the year 2017, former DGP of Kerala T.P. Senkumar had also accepted that 'love jihad' is a cruel reality in Kerala, which cannot be denied. He had said that many girls became its victims and joined ISIS, a terrorist organization with a brutal mindset, although he did not specify the exact figure.

Syro-Malabar Church raised the issue of Love Jihad:-

Let us tell you that the Syro-Malabar Church has been raising the issue of conversion of Christian girls for many years. The Church has been demanding action on the atrocities being committed against Christian girls. The church alleges that dozens of Christian women were converted to Islam. After this they was taken to Syria. It is feared that some of them have also been murdered there.

There has been an uproar only on the figures: –

After seeing all these things, one thing is true that people from Kerala have gone to join terrorist organizations. ISIS makes girls sex slaves, this is also true, Shamima Begum, known as Jihadi bride, is an example of this, on which a documentary has also been made. Now an attempt is being made to cover up the whole truth by falsifying the figure of only 32000 girls. Whether the figures given in the film are true or false can be debated, but can the reports of two former Chief Ministers, former DGPs, security agencies, which says, 'Muslim youths from Kerala have gone to become terrorists'.
