Sagar: There is an atmosphere of happiness in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh today. In fact, a son here is returning home today after 23 years on the day of 'Janmashtami'. He was jailed in Pakistan for a few years. The family has reached Amritsar to pick up the man. They are accompanied by local police. The youth has been handed over to India at the Attari-Wagah border here. Sagar police have received Prahlad. Prahlad's son Fundilal Rajput went missing from his house 23 years ago. He was 33 years old then.

After that the family searched for him a lot, but they were not traced. Meanwhile, he reached Pakistan and was caught and jailed. He had been lodged in a Pakistani jail since then. Prahlad has now returned home at the age of 56 after the efforts of sagar police and government of India. Prahlad's younger brother Veer Singh Rajput resident Ghoshipatti said elder brother Prahlad Singh was mentally weak in 1998. He was also undergoing treatment. They searched a lot after they went missing, but nothing was found anywhere. Lodged a complaint with the police station. Meanwhile, in 2014, the police came home and sought information about Prahlad. It was then that it was found that Prahlad was lodged in a Pakistani jail.

No one knows how Prahlad reached Pakistan, but after his detection, he started trying to bring him home from Pakistan. He met the officials and wrote to the government demanding the release of Prahlad. Now, after 23 years, he has returned home.
