New Delhi: The 6th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) was held on Friday, January 27 at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi.
The PM interacted with students, teachers and parents ahead of board exams 2023 through the interactive live session. He also interacted with students to provide guidance on how to keep exam tension at bay, get over exam phobias, and treat exams like festivals.
The Prime Minister, “Pariksha Pe Charcha is my exam too and crores of students of the country are taking my exam. I enjoy giving this examination. OIt is natural for families to have expectations from their children, but if it is just for the sake of maintaining ‘Social Status’, it becomes dangerous”.If you do better, there is a probable pressure from your surroundings to do even more better. No one is spared from this,” PM remarked.
PM Modi also urged parents not to pressurise their children, “I urge the parents not to pressurize their children. But at the same time, students should also not underestimate their stregnth. You should recognise your own potential, your own aspirations, your own goals; and then try to converge those with the expectations that other people are having from you”, Modi added.
He went on to say, "Not only for exams, but we should also be aware of time management at every stage of our life. You make such a slab that first give time to the subject which you like less after that give time to the subject which you like”.
“Observe deeply the time management your mother follows at home. The way she micro-manages everything with maximum efficiency is a thing to for you all to learn in life. A mother never feels or does it all as if under any pressure. Learn from mother, her life!”.
Nearly 2,400 students participated in the event this year. MOre than 16 lakh registered students are from state boards this year. Apart from this, 80 winners of Kala Utsav competition by NCERT and 102 students and teachers from across the country also witnessed the main event.
