Kochi: Today i.e. Tuesday (April 25) is the second day of PM Narendra Modi's visit to Kerala. The Prime Minister did a road show in Thiruvananthapuram. During this a large number of people were present. Today PM Modi also flagged off the Vande Bharat Express train at Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station. Along with this, PM Modi will also give the gift of water metro to Kerala. Today, during the roadshow, flowers were showered on the PM and during this the Prime Minister also greeted the people by waving to them.
PM Modi flagged off the state's first Vande Bharat train on the second day of his tour. The train was flagged off from Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station. This train will travel from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod. This train has 16 coaches and will cover 11 stations. Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Pathanamthitta, Malappuram, Kodhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod stations will come on this route. Along with this, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone for development projects worth over Rs 3200 crore at the Thiruvananthapuram Central Stadium.
In the evening PM Modi will visit the Namo Institute of Medical Education and Research at 4 pm. Will lay the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 4850 crore in Dadar and Nagar Haveli Silvassa at 4.30 pm. At the same time, he will inaugurate the road show in Daman at 6.10 pm and Devka seafront in Daman at 6.30 pm.
