Dehradun is all set to host the much-awaited Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit-2023 starting today at the Forest Research Institute. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the main event, marking the commencement of this two-day summit aimed at boosting investment prospects in the state.

Expressing optimism, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami emphasized the summit's significance in propelling Uttarakhand's development. He highlighted the potential for job creation and economic fortification through increased industrial investments.

Extending a warm welcome to PM Modi, Dhami underscored the leader's special bond with Devbhoomi, a rapidly emerging state amalgamating "Ecology, Economy, and Technology."

In preparation for the summit, CM Dhami engaged with investor delegates, affirming that the state government has diligently completed all necessary arrangements. The summit's theme, "Peace to Prosperity," aligns with the government's mission to establish Uttarakhand as an appealing investment destination.

Dhami announced that the state surpassed its targeted investment goal of Rs 2.5 lakh crore, with signed investment MOUs already totaling Rs 3 lakh crore under the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit-2023.

Focused on diverse sectors like health, education, tourism, and more, the summit aims to attract significant participation from both domestic and international industrialists. Dhami ensured that the event is well-prepared to cater to the needs of the state, emphasizing the importance of this investment platform.

The summit, to be held over the next two days, anticipates a gathering of major stakeholders, poised to set the stage for Uttarakhand's economic growth and development.
