Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will visit America and Latin American country Cuba in June. This has been approved by the Ministry of External Affairs. The Chief Minister will participate in the Pravasi Sangam of the Loka Kerala Sabha in the United States.
Foreign visit from June 8 to 18. Speaker AN Shamseer, Finance Minister KN Balagopal, Planning Board Vice Chairman VK Ramachandran, Chief Secretary VP Joy, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister KM Abraham and various IAS officers are on the American trip. A discussion will be held with the representatives of the World Bank on the 12th.
Health Minister Veena George, Planning Board Vice Chairman, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Health Secretary will accompany the Chief Minister on his visit to Communist Cuba. The Center had earlier denied permission for the Chief Minister's visit to the UAE.
