New Delhi: The mother lived separately and the father was paralyzed two years ago. The son used to stay with his father and take care of him. On Friday, from morning till evening, both father and son drank 11-quarters of alcohol. According to the police, in the evening, the father urinated on the bed under the influence of alcohol. This made the son furious and he strangled the father. The murder was revealed in the postmortem report. After the investigation, the accused son Sumit (20) was arrested.

Earlier, the police had also thought that the deceased was addicted to alcohol and may have died due to this. However, when the victim's wife expressed suspicion about her son, the police started investigating from another angle. The mother said that her son may have killed her husband. DCP (Central) Shweta Chauhan has informed that a call about the death of a person was received at Anand Parbat police station at around 9 pm on Friday. The police thought it was a natural death case. Investigation revealed that the deceased Jitendra Sharma was paralyzed for two years, and was addicted to alcohol. His wife lived in a separate locality from home. There were grandparents in the family. The house expenses were borne by grandfather's pension and rent.

On the death of the husband, the wife also came, who expressed doubts about the son. The police conducted a postmortem of the body at RML Hospital. The doctors said he was strangled. During the investigation, the statement of the neighbor was taken, who said that on the day of the incident, the father-son duo had also consumed alcohol till 6:30 pm. When Sumit was strictly questioned, he broke down. He confessed to his crime.
