Bhilwara: Four people died in a road accident on the Bhilwara-Ajmer highway in Rajasthan last night. The accident took place near Bandanwara town in which four youths traveling in the car lost their lives. All the deceased were returning to Kotputli after visiting the Mahakal temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. During this, when their car reached Bandanwada, it collided from behind with a trailer parked on the highway. All four persons were residents of Sangteda village of Kotputli.
According to the news received, on Thursday evening, four people in the car were going toward Jaipur from the Bhilwara side. Their speeding car rammed into a trailer parked in front of the Government Community Health Centre on National Highway 48. On hearing the sound of a loud explosion, people from the vicinity rushed to the spot and informed the police about the accident. Outpost in-charge Girdhari Singh rushed to the spot and pulled out the bodies from the vehicle and sent them to the mortuary at Bhinai with the help of an ambulance.
The accident was so dangerous that the front portion of the car was completely damaged and the bodies of two people were trapped in it, who were pulled out with the help of locals. While two people fell out. According to the news, the deceased include Sher Singh, Satvir, Sandeep, and Hawa Singh. People present on the spot said that most of the trailers are parked on the roadside on National Highway 48, which has led to many road accidents.
