Dehradun: A Hindu woman was allegedly murdered by Noor Hasan by slitting her throat with a shaving blade in Uttarakhand's Udham Singh Nagar district, police said on Sunday. The woman's body was found naked in a sugarcane field. According to media reports, this case is from Kanaura village under Udham Singh Nagar district. Bite marks were found on the woman's neck and it was suspected that she was murdered after being raped. The deceased's husband had accused contractor Noor Hasan of murder. According to media reports, the deceased woman used to work with Noor Hasan. The police, who are investigating the case, detained contractor Noor Hasan on the basis of suspicion and questioned him. During preliminary interrogation, Noor Hasan denied the murder. But, when the police took strict action, he confessed to his crime.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhay Pratap Singh has revealed that Noor Hasan had killed the woman. The deceased worked as a labourer and the two had an illicit relationship for the last eight years. Noor Hasan has told the police that there was a fight between him and Savitri over something. During this time, he pushed the woman. He died due to head injury. He then slit the woman's throat with a shaving blade and threw the body in a sugarcane field to give another look to the murder.
