New Delhi: Police have arrested the accused who raped a minor girl student studying in B. Com's first year in Noida, adjacent to the country's capital Delhi. The accused talked to the victim hiding his real identity and then raped her. Along with making obscene videos of the girl student, the accused had clicked many obscene photographs and also blackmailed her.
According to the report, a person living in a village in the Thana Phase-2 area lodged a report at the police station on Wednesday. The person told that a young man named Shoaib had befriended his 17-year-old daughter through Instagram. At that time the accused had told his name as Sagar. It is alleged that he raped the girl several times by hiding her religion. The accused took down her obscene video and took photographs. On the basis of them, he blackmailed the victim and took jewelry worth lakhs and one lakh rupees in cash.
Based on the complaint, the police raided several places on Thursday in search of the accused. During this, the accused Shoaib was arrested. The police produced the accused in court. From where he was sent to jail.
