Noida: Nearly four months have passed since the operation of Noida Metro has started and its metro card sales are continuously falling. Travelers are telling the main reasons for the lack of rental and uninterrupted connectivity. According to Noida Metro Data, between May 1 and 20, a total of 2,041 passenger cards were issued, while in March this year 5,064 and 3,686 cards were issued in April.

It was reported that about 5,220 cards had been issued in February and within approximately six days of the commencement of operations, 3,363 cards were issued between January 26 and January 31. Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) joined hands with State Bank of India (SBI) to issue card of SBI NMRC City 1. Noida charges 1.8 per cent for Metro Card Recharge or Rs 12 for Recharge.

Whereas on Sundays or National Holidays, to be repaid from 10 rupees to 40 rupees.
