Lucknow: A truck and an Alto car collided in Uttar Pradesh's Noida on Saturday (January 7) morning. The people in the car were seriously injured in the accident. They were rushed to the hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. The incident took place in Noida's Beta-2 police station area. According to the report, the accident was so severe that the car was shattered.
The driver of the truck fled from the spot after the accident. People present at the spot informed the police. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. The exact cause of the accident is being ascertained. The driver is also being searched by seizing the truck. Earlier, a Creta car overturned uncontrollably after the light of another car fell on the eye of a car driver who was going through the elevated Sector-18 underpass in Noida. However, fortunately, the driver was not injured. The driver was immediately pulled out of the car by the policemen present there and the car was removed with the help of a crane.
ACP Rajneesh Verma said that Jasmeet, a resident of Cleo County Society located in the Phase 3 Kotwali area, was going on an elevated route through the sector-18 underpass late on Wednesday (January 4). Meanwhile, the light of another car coming from the other side fell in Jasmeet's eyes, due to which the car went out of control and overturned after hitting the divider. Jasmeet was wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident. Due to this, his life was saved.
