The absconding accused husband Salman and sister-in-law Malka alias Mehreen have been taken into custody in the police case of Ecotech 3 police station. The accused was a resident of the Kharkhoda police station area of ​​district Meerut and was currently living in Haldwani. Both were absconding after the murder. Kotwali in-charge Pawan Yadav has said that in the year 2017, Fatima, a resident of Surajpur, was married to Salman of Haldwani village. It is alleged that right after marriage, Fatima's in-laws are demanding a car and Rs 5 lakh in dowry.
After the daughter's murder came to the fore, the victim's father also accused the in-laws of dowry death in Ecotech 3 police station. He had said that Fatima's in-laws used to torture her for dowry and on November 6, the victim's father told the police station Ecotech 3 that his daughter's in-laws had killed her for dowry. He also told that the daughter was 8 months pregnant, in which her child also lost her life. In this case, Fatim's father had given a complaint against 5 people, on which the police registered a case and started searching for the accused. On Wednesday, the police arrested two accused husband and sister-in-law. However, the three accused in the case are still absconding, for whom the police have raided.
