Noida: A 38-year-old woman has committed suicide in the 'Stellar Jeevan' Society in Bisark police station area of Noida. The woman has committed suicide by consuming Harpic. Giving information, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Ankur Aggarwal has said that the body of 38-year-old Ekta, who lives in the 'Steller Jeevan' Society in Bisarkh police station area, was recovered from her flat at around 3 pm.
While giving information, Agarwal has told that the woman's husband Lalit Kumar told the police that Ekta committed suicide by drinking the Harpic used to clean the bathroom. Ankur Aggarwal said that the police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, through the magistrate, filled the body's panch-nama and sent it for postmortem. The matter will be clear only after the postmortem report is received.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police said that the woman's husband is being questioned in custody. Both were married six years ago. Police suspect that the woman has been murdered. In this regard, the police is also interrogating the people close to the woman.
