Lucknow: A 13-year-old minor girl was held hostage and raped for several days in Salarpur in Noida Police Station Face-2 area of Uttar Pradesh. The minor's family alleged that the accused had kidnapped the minor by cheating on her marriage.
The family members alleged that the accused kidnapped their minor daughter on the pretext of marriage on June 14 and held her hostage in his house and raped her for several days and also tried to sell the minor along with his relative. Family members say the police did not take any action even after the complaint. According to family members, the victim somehow called them on July 3 and reported the incident, after which the victim was rescued from the house of accused Abdul Rahim at Salarpur.
Meanwhile, police said that a case has been registered on july 10 on the complaint of the family members. The family members of the victim have written in the complaint that they do not want any action. However the matter is under investigation. Earlier, there was a recent incident of gang rape and video making of a minor in Kanpur, UP. Not only that, the minor was also given abortion pills when she became pregnant. The family came to know the reality when the minor's health deteriorated.
