Noida: The Gautam Budh Nagar district administration in Uttar Pradesh has released a new proposed list of circle rates of land late on Monday evening. In the proposed list, the circle rate has been increased from five to 20 percent by changing the category of several sectors. The new list proposes 'location charges' on plots near Metro, Green Belt and Expressway. Location charges up to 12.5 percent may have to be paid for different plots.
The proposed list has also been posted on the district administration's website. At the same time, people have been asked to object and make suggestions on the list. Any person can file his objection to the proposed list by 4 pm on 16th August. District Information Officer Rakesh Chauhan informed that the existing circle rates in the district were implemented on 8th August 2019. The list of circle rates could not be released across the state in 2020 due to the corona transition period.
He said the A, B, C category of the residential plot has been identified by Noida authority. The location of some of these sectors has been changed. Rakesh Chauhan said new rates have also been proposed in the areas of Greater Noida, Yamuna Expressway Development Authority, and Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation. He said there is a huge difference between the rates of the authority and the circle rate. A list of new circle rates has been created to bridge this gap.
