Bhopal: Schools are set to be opened for classes 1 to 5 in Madhya Pradesh. In this case, an official says, 'The Madhya Pradesh state government has decided to reopen schools from September 20 to Class 1 to 5 with 50% attendance. The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.' At the same time, it has been reported that schools have been asked to follow the Covid-19 protocol to open primary classes. Social distancing and sanitization should be done properly.

At the same time, an official in the school education department says that if a parent does not want to send children to school, the administration should continue classes online. Recently, School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar says hostels and boarding schools in classes 8, 10, and 12 will also be reopened with 100% capacity, while class 11 will be reopened with 50% capacity. He further said, 'All the staff members of the school have been asked to get the covid-19 vaccines.'

In addition, the Minister also said, "The decision was taken after reviewing the status of Covid-19 cases. Positive cases have come down to 0.1% for the last one and a half months. Earlier, the Department of School Education had resumed classes from September 1 to Class 8 to 12. The Department of Higher Education also announced the reopening of colleges in MP with 50% capacity from September 15.''

On the other hand, an official of the Madhya Pradesh Public Relations Department quoted the minister as saying, "Educational activities in all universities and colleges in the state will start with the attendance of students from September 15. All colleges and universities will have 100% attendance of academic and non-academic staff. Classes will be conducted with 50 percent attendance of students.''
