Bhopal: The cases of corona are increasing day by day in Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, its effect has started appearing on the examinations once again. On Saturday, the Higher Education Department informed that "University examinations will be held in May instead of April, keeping in mind the increasing corona infection and the health of students".
Talking about this yesterday, Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav said that, 'Students of the Graduate Final Year and the fourth semester of Post Graduation will have to go to the examination center and take the exam. Whereas in addition to the first and second year of graduation, the students of the post-graduation second semester will be tested through the open book method. Apart from this, Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav also told that 'In the final year of graduation, about 4 lakh 30 students will appear in the examination, while in the fourth semester of post-graduation, about 1 lakh 72 thousand students will take the exam.
The number of students taking the exam with the open book method is 5 lakh 33 thousand in graduation first year and 5 lakh 25 thousand in the second year. At the same time, the number of students in the second semester of post-graduation is one lakh 35 thousand. Indeed, the government has taken this decision in view of the growing Corona infection. Let us also tell you that on Saturday, 2142 new cases of corona have been reported in Madhya Pradesh and 10 people have died.
