In fact, gold and silver lockets were distributed at the district hospital for the birth of daughters. Not only that, mothers who gave birth to daughters were also respected. A total of 23 lockets were distributed, including gold to 3 daughters born in 2022 and silver lockets to 20 daughters born in 2021.
To welcome the daughters born on the new year in the district hospital of Betul, some philanthropists arrived with bouquets in their hands. Where gold and silver locket gifts were given to the newly admitted girls in the hospital. Social workers say that this initiative was taken to reduce the difference in sex ratio between boys and girls.
The family members should not feel sad about the birth of daughters. This initiative was started in the year 2015. Apart from the common people, doctors are also praising this initiative of social workers. District Hospital's RMO Dr Ranu Verma said that there is a good tradition of respecting mothers on the birth of a daughter and giving such gifts to daughters. Due to which positive thinking of people towards daughters will be formed. Generally, it has been seen that there is mourning in the family on the birth of daughters.
