Motorola users have reason to celebrate as the company has started rolling out the Android 14 update for its smartphones. Last September, Motorola launched the Motorola Edge 40 Neo in India, but it came with Android 13 OS, leaving users disappointed. Users had been requesting an Android update from the company for quite some time, and now, their wishes have been granted.

Motorola has delighted its users by beginning the rollout of the Android 14 update for the Edge 40 Neo. This update will bring the latest features to the Edge 40 Neo, with the version number U1TM34.107_34_3 and a total size of 1.4 GB.

With the Android 14 update, users will gain access to selective media sharing, allowing them to reach any photo or video without getting lost in the entire media library. Additionally, if there are any changes related to data sharing, users will be notified with an alert. The transparency regarding apps that share location data with third parties has also been improved.

Moreover, the Bluetooth alert notifications have been updated to include a centralized platform for storing health data. Users will have control over sharing their health data with others. Customizable settings for incoming alerts will also be available to users.

Although the arrival of Android 14 brings joy to many, some issues may arise after the update. Problems like delayed notifications from Messenger and WhatsApp, as well as the phone heating up during use, might be encountered. Therefore, users are advised to exercise caution before updating. The company is gradually rolling out Android 14, and users can manually update their phones by going to the settings.
