Motorcycle and jeep clashed, 2 killed
tyle="text-align:justify"> A jeep and motorcycle clashed on a highway and two teachers were killed near Gaura Bazar, police said .Victims identified as Rakesh Dubey (35) and Vijay Shankar (55) died when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a jeep on Rae Bareli-Varanasi National Highway here last night, they said.
The deceased, who were teachers at a college, were returning home after checking UP Board copies from the district headquarters when the incident occurred, police said.
The jeep driver sped away with the vehicle, they said, adding that efforts are on to apprehend the accused.
