Motorola, under Lenovo’s ownership, announced the launch of its latest budget smartphone, the Moto G45, scheduled for August 21 at 12 PM. The news was confirmed through a dedicated page on Flipkart, which revealed several key specifications of the device. The Moto G45 is set to appeal to budget-conscious consumers with its robust chipset, sleek design, and an array of features tailored for affordability.
Moto G45: Key Specifications Out
The Moto G45 will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, supported by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device will feature a 6.5-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for enhanced durability. Motorola has also emphasized Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support, promising superior audio quality for users.
In terms of design, the Moto G45 is expected to have a textured leather back panel, offering a premium feel. This design choice continues Motorola’s tradition of providing leather finishes on its devices. The smartphone will be available in three colors: red, blue, and green. At the rear, the device will feature a 50MP dual-camera system, as suggested by promotional materials.
The front of the Moto G45 will include a punch-hole design for the selfie camera, with relatively thicker bezels on the top and bottom edges, which is typical for budget models. While details such as battery capacity are yet to be disclosed, it is anticipated that Motorola will include a charger in the retail package, in line with its recent practices.
With these specifications, the Moto G45 is expected to be priced around Rs. 15,000 in India, positioning it competitively in the budget segment. The official pricing will be confirmed at launch. The Moto G45 will be available for purchase on Flipkart, with more updates anticipated as the release date approaches.
