Shahjahanpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Shahjahanpur today. He has arrived at The Roza Railway Ground here today to lay the foundation stone of ganga expressway. At the same time, he further said, "Ganga Expressway will give both speed and strength to the development of UP. It will also connect airports, metros, waterways, defence corridors. It will also be used in fiber optic cables, laying of electric wires etc. In future cargo containers of western UP will be sent directly to Haldia through the dryport of Varanasi. This expressway will benefit every section of the society. Only when the whole of UP grows together does the country move forward. With the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas, we are working for the development of UP. Now, in UP, it is good for all, not discrimination. Five years ago, electricity was not available except in some parts of the state. The double engine government has given more power than before. '
In his further address, PM Modi said, "When time is left, there is a facility left, resources are utilized properly, then strength increases and then prosperity comes automatically. Today, we are all seeing the growing strength of UP in the double engine government. All projects from expressways to airports have been dedicated to public service. The expressway is about 1,000 kilometres. It will provide employment to thousands of people. The day is not far when UP will be identified as the most modern state with the next generation. The new railway routes, expressways and airports that ARE being built by UP are bringing many boons. Such as saving time, best use of resources, increase in the strength of UP, all round prosperity in UP. Now it will take less time than ever to move from one city to another in UP. The expressway connecting 12 districts of UP will also reduce the time from Delhi to Bihar. When it is ready, a cluster of industries will be built around it. Which will be very helpful for everyone from farmers to MSMEs. It will also help in increasing the income of farmers. Whether it is farmers or youth, it is an expressway of infinite possibilities for all.
