VIZAG: Train 20833 Vizag-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express has started 3 hours late in Vizag (Visakhapatnam) on February 4 due to replacement of an emergency window glass of its C12 coach.

While reaching from Secunderabad to Vizag on Friday evening, near Khammam railway station, the glass was damaged due to stone-pelting by miscreants.

On Saturday, Waltair Railway Division officials announced that they had identified and arrested the suspects from the rake's CCTV footage.

The train was scheduled to leave Visakhapatnam at 5.45 a.m. on Saturday, but it didn't leave the station until about 9 a.m., the Railway officials said. The delay was brought on by repairs to the broken glass.

Since the train started running between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad in January, there have been two incidents of this nature. When the train stopped in the maintenance yard of the Visakhapatnam railway station during the trial run, the first incident took place there.

Before Prime Minister Narendra Modi practically launched it at Secunderabad Railway Station on January 15, two of its coach windows were broken in Visakhapatnam by three identified miscreants.
