Mumbai:A horrific collision between a car and a truck took place on the outskirts of Nagpur city of Maharashtra, due to which there was an outcry among the people. Meanwhile, about six people died and one was seriously injured in the accident.
A senior police officer said that the accident occurred between 12.15 am and 2 am near Sonkhamb village on Katol-Kalmeshwar road. He said that after attending a wedding ceremony, 7 people were traveling in a car when their vehicle collided with a truck carrying soybean.
In this accident, two people lost their lives on the spot, while two others died in the hospital. He said that after the accident, three other people were brought to Nagpur for treatment and two of them died on the spot, while the condition of one person is critical. He said that the driver of the truck has been arrested. Action is being taken in the case.
