In this case, the police said that the 5-year-old girl Khairu Nisha was repeatedly asking for mangoes while having food, upset with this, her uncle allegedly killed her.
In this case, the police said that after being provoked by repeated demands of mangoes, he first hit her on the head with a rod and when she started bleeding, he panicked and slit her throat. He then stuffed her body in a sack. The murder is said to have taken place on Tuesday in the Khera Kurtan village of Shamli. Khairu Nisha, the daughter of a labourer, went missing in the afternoon and the police found her body at the house of accused Umardin at night. Kandhla SHO Shyamveer Singh said that the accused had gone with the villagers in search of the girl, but when the police suspected him, he immediately disappeared.
At the same time, Shamli ASP OP Singh said that police have arrested the accused Umardin from a forest area near the village and also recovered the weapon (a knife and an iron rod) used in the murder from his possession. The accused was reportedly arrested on Thursday night and sent to jail on Friday and on the complaint of the victim's father, an FIR under Section 302 (murder) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
