Shahdol: There has been a piece of recent shocking news from the Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh. In fact, a man killed his own wife for refusing to cook chicken here. According to the information received, the husband got angry when his wife refused, and then the husband hit her with a stick so much that she died. The case dates back to last Sunday and the accused husband has been arrested after the incident.

Regarding the case, Shahdol Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mukesh Baishya said last Wednesday, "Kamlesh Kol asked his wife Rambai Kol (32) to make chicken at Simaria Tola village in Papondh police station area on the night of August 23. The wife flatly refused to do so and an argument broke out between the two. The accused then got angry and hit his wife with a stick.'' The officer further said that after the death of his wife, the husband tried to hide the case. The accused told police earlier that the woman died after being injured in an accident but the post mortem report revealed the poll.

Police said, the post mortem report revealed that Rambai died of a head fall. After finding out all this, the police officials questioned the accused husband strictly and he confessed to the crime. The accused husband said he had asked his wife to make chicken but when she refused he got angry and assaulted her. It was in this that she died. Police said, a case of murder has been registered against the accused and he has been arrested.
