Indore: Monsoon has wreaked havoc in Madhya Pradesh this time. However, for the past few days, the monsoon activities in the state have been changing and stagnant. But before Janmashtami, the state has started getting drenched with monsoon rains and the same is going to happen. Two persons have died and 3 others were injured in a lightning strike in Palera village of Tikamgarh yesterday. Similarly, the flood in the Kanhan River in Chhindwara caused the bridge to collapse inside Lodhikhera. Due to this, the connectivity of 25 villages with the district headquarters has been lost.

On the other hand, the MET department has issued heavy rain alerts in 17 districts including Indore, Ujjain in the coming 24 hours. In addition, the MET department has predicted lightning and good rainfall at isolated places in Jabalpur, Sagar, Hoshangabad, Gwalior, and Chambal divisions. The meteorologist has said, "Odisha: Due to the low-pressure area in Andhra Pradesh, there will be similar heavy and light rain at some places till September 2. Heavy rain is likely to occur in most parts of the state during the next 24 hours.'' Let me tell you that the Kanhan river was flooded after heavy rains last Sunday. Due to this, the connectivity of 25 villages with the district headquarters has been lost.

There may be more rain- Betul, Hoshangabad, Raisen, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Umaria, Dindori, Sagar, Chhatarpur, and Narsinghpur districts. During the next 24 hours, to 5 inches of rain is expected. At the same time, an alert of heavy rain has also been issued at some places during this period.
