Dhar: A head constable posted at the Nisarpur police chowki under Kukshi police station area in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh allegedly shot himself dead in the garrison's post on Wednesday morning. He was rushed to hospital in an injured condition, but doctors declared him dead. Station in-charge Kamal Singh Gehlot has told that 55-year-old head constable Rajkumar Raghuvanshi shot under the chest with a rifle.
Hearing the sound of the bullet, two policemen present there rushed their injured companion to the community hospital in Nisarpur. The doctors immediately referred him to the district hospital of Barwani. Where doctors declared him dead. He may have taken such a step due to family tension. Only after investigation, the exact cause of the incident will be known. The police is investigating this matter. The body has been taken and sent for post mortem.
Rajkumar Raghuvanshi, the principal constable posted at Nisarpur outpost, was posted here for the last two years. Even before this, he had lived in Nisarpur for two years. Originally he was a resident of the rural area of Ashoknagar in Bhind district. His age was about 55 years. Presently, he lived in a government residence built in Nisarpur outpost. He is also survived by his wife, son, daughter-in-law, a grandson and a granddaughter.
